One day they’re warm with you, the next you’re wondering what you’ve done wrong. I’m getting a B or an S around this. You’ve given this person a lot of chances to explain themselves. I think part of you already knows what’s going on, but you’ve been hoping you’ve got it wrong.

The High Priestess tells me to pay attention to how you feel after speaking to them. Do you feel comfortable? Or do you find yourself replaying the conversation, wondering why a simple chat has left you feeling so drained?

Justice is here too, and I feel something will make sense over the next few weeks. It could be something they say without thinking, or you may just reach the point where you’re tired of making excuses for them. I don’t see you needing a big argument. I see you quietly deciding what you will and won’t accept anymore.

I also feel a steady male loved one close to you in spirit. I’m getting D or P, possibly David, Daniel, Peter or Paul. There’s a protective feeling around him, especially when you’re sitting alone with your thoughts at night. His message feels very simple: you’ve done enough for everyone else. Please look after yourself as well.

The Queen of Swords shows you setting a boundary, and I think you’ll surprise yourself with how calm you are when you do it.

There’s also a little bit of financial breathing room coming in. It may be money you’re owed, help with a bill, or something costing less than you expected. Watch for the numbers 3, 8 and 21. One of them may stand out to you soon.

I feel you’ve spent far too much time trying to work out where you stand with somebody.

You’ve gone back over messages. Thought about the way they said something. Wondered if you expected too much or misunderstood them. But when somebody is interested one minute and distant the next, of course you’re going to feel confused.

The Knight of Wands came out reversed, and I do feel this person knows how to pull you back in. They can be lovely when they want to be. They say just enough to make you think things might finally be different, then the effort drops again.

I’m getting H or J around them. Harry, Henry, Jake or Jordan are examples, but it could be a surname too.

The Page of Cups tells me there are feelings there. I’m not saying they’ve made the whole thing up. But feelings don’t mean much if they can’t be honest with you or show up consistently. I think that’s the part you’ve struggled to accept, because when it’s good between you, it feels really good.

Then you’re left dealing with the silence afterwards.

The Five of Cups shows me you’ve been more hurt by this than you’ve let on. Maybe you’ve told people you’re over it, or that you don’t care what they do now. But privately, you’ve still wondered why they couldn’t just be straight with you.

I also got the Seven of Cups. This person seems to distract themselves rather than deal with uncomfortable conversations. They may throw themselves into work, go out, stay busy, or act as though nothing happened. That doesn’t make their behaviour fair to you.

The Eight of Cups is you starting to step away from the whole pattern. I don’t think you need another explanation from them to know how it’s made you feel.

There’s a female loved one coming through in spirit as well. I’m getting C or A, perhaps Carol, Christine, Anne or Angela. I get the sense she would have been quite matter of fact with you. Loving, yes, but she wouldn’t want you sitting around waiting for somebody to decide whether they want to treat you properly.

I do see a message or some sort of contact in the next few weeks. It may look casual, almost as if they’re testing whether the door is still open. You can reply if you want to. Just ask yourself whether anything has actually changed.

I got The Star for you, and I feel you’re doing better than you give yourself credit for.

Something happened that really knocked your confidence in people. You may be getting on with life and having good days again, but every so often a song, a place, or even a certain time of day takes you straight back there.

Please don’t be hard on yourself for that. You cared. It mattered to you.

The Queen of Cups tells me you’re someone who notices the little things. You can tell when a person’s tone changes or when they say they’re fine but clearly aren’t. You give people room to explain themselves, sometimes even when they haven’t earned it. I feel you’ve spent a lot of time trying to understand why somebody acted the way they did, when really you deserved a more honest conversation from them.

The Six of Cups is here, and I do feel somebody thinks about you when something reminds them of the past. I keep seeing a familiar song playing unexpectedly. There’s a memory attached to it that makes them stop for a moment. I can’t tell you that means they’ll come back, but I don’t feel you were the only one who cared.

There are loved ones in spirit close here too. I feel a female presence, and a younger male energy alongside her. M, E and J are standing out. Mary, Marie, Emma, Ellie, James or Jack may connect, though the initials could belong to somebody linked to them. I get a feeling of them being around you when the house goes quiet and you finally have a moment to think.

The Page of Cups makes me want to mention dreams. You may dream of a familiar face, or wake up feeling emotional without remembering much of the dream. If that happens, write down whatever you do remember, even if it’s only one small detail. You might notice a pattern later.

I also see somebody wanting to speak to you but holding back. There may be an A, L or S in their name. They seem to think about sending a message, then talk themselves out of it. I feel a small contact coming, perhaps a reply to something you post or a simple “how have you been?”

Take it for what it is when it happens. You don’t have to decide the future of the connection from one message. See whether they make an effort after that.
